I’m so glad this memorial has been placed here… the men and women who serve this country in our military are Americas blood and treasure and those that return UNDER the flag should never be forgotten! We are a sovereign nation because of their sacrifices! We owe it to their memory to always be a thankful nation and this memorial serves that effort

I remember the mother of a girl I dated, who just loved watching the MASH TV show when it was in it’s first seasons. The mother had been an officer and a nurse in the Korean War at one of those medical units. She told me she could “feel it” when she watched the show weekly. I loved hearing her stories about the war and admired her for her service. BTW she was the school nurse and health teacher at O’Connell back then, so some of you maybremember her too. The daughter called me several years ago, just to let me know her mother had passed. She realized what in influence her mother had on those that knew her.

Dalton Logan

You may be correct Mr. Gillis, jumping to conclusions is reflective of the democratic way
