One day before the legislature was scheduled to reconvene, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Wednesday finally announced the legislation he wants lawmakers to take up during the 30-day special session.

Abbott’s 11-item agenda includes topics important to conservative constituents. It includes calls to reform the state laws to make getting bail more difficult for people accused of serious crimes and to make another attempt at changing state election laws, which failed during the regular session of the legislature after Democrats broke quorum to block passage of a voting-reform bill.

And why on earth did Abbott not think our electrical grid was a top priority? His incompetence is only surpassed by his ignorance.

The bans on CRT and trans athletes will keep us warm during next winter's grid collapse.

Doug Sivyer, the grid was taken care of in regular session, bill passed and signed. It may not be to your liking but let's see if it works.

I do not need to become a popsicle to understand that the electrical grid fix is more important then all the bull crap being proposed by Abbott and his gang. Texans are in trouble as long as the Abbott administration continues on this path of crazy.

No "bull cr*p" Dwight.
