The city of Galveston is considering telling employees they won’t be reimbursed for visits to Hospitality ER, a free-standing emergency room on the seawall, over concerns the facility is charging higher than market rates for services.

They go to these free standing emergency care centers because if you go to an emergency room connected to a hospital you may not get seen or might have to wait up to 24 hours.
