Well, Good. Galveston needs a Bowling Alley. Some lady was harping about that on an Airbnb article yesterday. She'll be be happy. I'm happy for her. I once bowled. It was fun. Galveston was (is) a bowling town.

I suppose that is also a big enough foot print to perhaps build a mid/high rise condominium someday also. Did Mr. Fertitta actually leave a square on the chess board uncovered? Nah.

Bowling was my sport. I remember Bowl Lanes, Gulf Bowl, and Seahorse Bowl AKA Island Bowl.

Great News! Thank you.

Gulf Lanes. You had to from Galveston to even know that place existed, stuck back behind the cotton warehouses. Makes my eyes water remembering.

I certainly will welcome a modern bowling alley, and I know others that will as well! I know a woman whose son came down from Northeast Texas to a bowling tournament the other side of Houston!

Yay! This is welcome news!
