Oleander Homes

The Galveston City Council gave its official thumbs-up to a plan to develop mixed-income housing at 5200 Broadway, the 11.5-acre site of the previous Oleander Homes public housing.

GALVESTON

A major project aimed at replacing public housing lost to Hurricane Ike will take a step forward Monday with a public comment period in advance of construction beginning sometime this year.
