Health officials on Monday reported the second probable monkeypox case in Galveston County and were working to identify anyone who might have been exposed, they said.

The health district on July 20 reported the first probable monkeypox case found in Galveston County from an unidentified out-of-state resident. The second person lives in Galveston County, officials said.
