Increasing Revenues and Expenses at the Port

The Port of Galveston approved a $54.6 million budget on Tuesday. It's a more than $6 million increase from the port's 2019 budget, and is based on projected revenue increases increased cruise business.

I would say I’m disappointed, but this was predictable and par for the course. Record EXPENSES with those record revenues.

Predictable because its other people’s money. For once, I would like expenses to be held or cut so the debt would be less.

As an eternal optimist I’m still waiting for that magic port board and management team that makes it so.
