GALVESTON

A house that can hold up to 20 children and their families needs a playground.

Many may laugh at this statement and maybe it is just me, but this story is just one example for appreciating Galveston.

I have lived in seven States, In cities with metropolitan populations of 7,000 to 7 million.

Galveston stands alone in its history of benevolence and generosity. Many will say it is still not enough, but that is due to the amount of needs and not a lack of heart.

The families and individuals of over a century ago set an example for today's individuals. Many are the same names, but many new are added.

I may have made it to Galveston late in life, but am extremely proud to call Galveston HOME!!!

Couldn't have said it better. So proud to call Galveston our new home, as well.
