Bragging about a 56 % failure to graduate rate? On top of calling a sub 50% score a passing grade. How many of the 44% graduates were sub 50% students?

I suspect you missed the point Mr. Miller about higher education graduation rates in general and community colleges in particular. Can I suggest you give the folks at Galveston College a call and find out what those sterile numbers actually mean. And maybe find out who the faces are behind those numbers. No doubt they would be glad to hear from you.

Ray> I can't find anything good about a 56% failure to graduate rate. 10% improvement? Even worse to think 10% more students were paying to fail before.

Congratulations to the young man in the photo who is boldly using paper and a writing instrument to do his homework. This is an absolutely hopeful sign for the future and I only hope that the Dunder & Miflin shirt he is wearing does NOT signal the apex of his own asperations.
