Galveston County Judge Mark Henry will seek funding to hire an independent engineer to study traffic and drainage issues where a developer plans to build a 360-unit manufactured home neighborhood, he said Monday.

And if the County’s independent engineer comes up with the same conclusions as the developer will the nearby residents be satisfied? Or will they only be satisfied if the project doesn’t happen?

Hiring an engineer will usually get you some hard facts, not “a lot of opinions on a lot of different things” Joe. If you’re just looking for opinions, you can get “a lot” of those without spending $20,000.00!
