The busy summer season already has generated $1 million in seawall parking revenue, a notable milestone in terms of the amount and how early in the season that landmark was met.

Keri, is the 1 million dollars in revenue gross or net?

Does that mean we'll see some benefit from this money? More toilets? more water fountains? The money doesn't really matter unless they use it for something we want.

Sad to hear that the bulk of the generated funds are tied up in administrative costs. Something’s wrong here.

I HATE the bollard lighting. When I drive by in my car and look out to the Gulf I have this continuing line of bollards in my view, instead of the beach and water.

I remember when one of the oppositions to parking meters on the seawall would be that it would spoil the view. That's what the lighting bollards do.

In fact, lighting on the seawall was NOWHERE on my list of desired improvements. It might be an actual detriment (it certainly would be if the bollards are used).

I'd like parking rates to be even higher. $5/hr with a $25 max. Keep the yearly pass at $45 for residents and keep the beaches free before 10AM and after 6PM, as they are now. Use the extra income to clean up litter and provide more guards and amenities.

Wait, you have to pay to go to that beach 😂😂😂😂
