State Rep. Mayes Middleton is among a small group of Republican state representatives calling for Gov. Greg Abbott to reconvene the Texas Legislature for a fourth time so lawmakers can pass a new law banning vaccine mandates in the state.

Middleton is one of at least 20 legislators who have endorsed the idea of a “Four Day Fourth.” The special session idea also is being pushed by the Texas Republican Party.

That government is best which governs least. Middleton needs to back off and work harder in regular session.

Middelton works 24/7/365 on eliminating government we don't need or want. He is my choice for 2024 Texas governor and 2028 US President.
