A Galveston County company is suing a construction machinery rental firm, seeking less than $100,000 for damages, asserting property was damaged during an attempted rental.

League City attorney Keith Gross filed the lawsuit on behalf of ALB Painting and Remodeling LLC on Oct. 1 in the 56th District Court against EquipmentShare.com Inc., asserting the rental company crushed an underground culvert and breached a contract by taking back machinery before it could be used.
