AMEN! One of the reasons God put daddies on the earth was because he knew kids would need them! That is Straight-Up for real! May God bless this bereaved family!

I've driven on FM 2004 for over 40 years and welcome change. The proposed road shoulders are also welcome. One change already in place are lowered speed limits between FM 646 and Highway 6. The "dummy" police car was an amusing twist but frequent drivers quickly learned that it was an unmanned derelict. Try driving the speed limit on FM 2004. The workers coming from the Chocolate Bayou plants (and parts west) are in a hurry to get home and often exceed the speed limit. A few even give me the middle finger salute as they pass me. I go the speed limit. In the 1970s I tried keeping up with these speeders to check how fast they were going. As I approached 100 mph in my slant-6 Dodge, it seemed like I was standing still compared to these speedsters.
