I can't wait to see what the contributions from Federal and State will be for 2021's budget. I would expect drastic cuts disbursed because of expenditures and revenue by both during 2020. On every level, government is going to have to tighten it's belt. The numbers are grossly optimistic in my opinion but time will tell.

"The park board’s budget is about 60 percent more than the $25.4 million budgeted in 2020"

Is that a misprint, or are they really increasing the budget? How, if the season was so bad?

Ron Shelby

Because of projects specific grants from FEMA, otherwise normal operations are not increasing that much (60%), but they are still increasing significantly.
