poretto beach is a dune-swale wetland. Its been growing wetland plants for years. I believe that when they put up the water front bollards, they resulted in a dune line that then prevented the sand from blowing into the back beach area. And it became a dune-swale wetland.

Thank you for your thoughts but you’re wrong. I’ve lived and witnessed damages to our property by the Park Board which has caused flooding from all direction. I’d love for you to come visit the property when we are working and educate yourself on the issue. We invite anyone to come see and learn rather than just driving by and making assumptions.

I'd be happy to. I'm in the phone book.

I still think Poretto Beach is currently a wetland.

I also doubt that current work at Stewart Beach is causing a problem at Poretto beach. It may be possible that work over the last 20 years caused problems, but then I think that moving sand around on Poretto Beach causes problems for its neighbors.

Some facts to clean up which I’m not sure why are present. Henry Porretto died in 2007, Sonya fought the case for her father. She has openly stated this was for her father because of the horrific and egregious actions committed by the State, city, and the Park Board against him, his legacy, and his property. The state Supreme Court decision actually outlines the States actions as troubling.

Restoration & Restitution are in order. This case will be resolved out of court . No doubt.
