Golf carts seem to be everywhere on the island and their numbers recently have multiplied on Seawall Boulevard, leading city officials to worry cart drivers will take to roads closed for Mardi Gras parades.

I think it’s great that they lowered the speed limit on the seawall . To accommodate golf carts.

“There have been zero accidents,” Jones said.

Is he referring to his rentals only? Because I saw a rental golf cart crunched up on the Seawall with a lady's knee tore open with a crying child hit by a car. There were a few others.
