The Friendswood Animal Control pet of the week is Mia.
Mia is a sweet and playful cat who loves the company of other cats. She lives in a foster home where she likes to curl up in her foster’s lap or stretch out on the bed. Since being in foster care, Mia has really come out of her shell. She can still be a little shy at first, and sometimes loud noises startle her, but it doesn’t take long for her to warm up to you. She needs an adopter who understands shy cats and is willing to be patient in allowing her to get used to her surroundings at her own pace.
Mia would be an excellent addition to a home with other cats. Whenever her foster’s resident cat comes around, Mia runs out to greet him and they spend many hours playing together.
If you would like to meet Mia, please contact her foster Amy Castro at 281-728-2248.
Mia’s adoption fee has been paid by a donor. When you adopt Mia, you’ll also get, at no cost, spay surgery, feline leukemia and FIV testing, rabies vaccine, feline HCPCh and LeLV shots, microchipping and a vet exam.
