The Galveston Island Humane Society pets of the week are Wicked and Molly.

Wicked is medium-haired female tuxedo cat that is anything but wicked. She was surrendered to the shelter because she was not allowed in her previous owner’s new home. Wicked is 3 years old and declawed. She is incredibly sweet and social. She has dreams of becoming a professional lap cat. Stop by today to meet this wicked cool cat and make her dreams come true.

Molly is a sweet girl and is looking for her forever family. She is about 1 1/2 years old with a slick, tan and white coat. She is a short and stout pit bull mix weighing 56 pounds. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly and loves new situations and adventures. She is house-trained, great with other dogs, well-mannered and is wonderful on a leash. Molly is a gentle soul who has had an unfair past but has a hopeful future. If you are looking for a dog that has it all then Molly is your girl. Come by and meet this little princess today.

As the weather warms up so does our event schedule. Keep an eye on our website’s events calendar for up-to-date details of all of the upcoming community events that benefit the Galveston Island Humane Society.

All cat and dog adopters get a free tag with each adoption. Adoptions include the spay or neuter surgery, a microchip, current vaccinations and a month of pet insurance. These featured pets have an adoption sponsor allowing the adoption fee of $25 for this week only.
