The Friendswood Animal Control pet of the week is Hitch.

Hitch is a handsome dog, approximately a year old, and believed to be a German Shepard or Malinois mixed with Chow. He is a medium-sized dog, weighing approximately 40 pounds. Hitch knows “sit” and is very attentive to training. He is a very loyal dog and sweet to those with whom he’s comfortable. He is sometimes a bit wary with strangers and needs an adopter who understands Barrier Frustration behavior and how to address it.

If you’d like to meet Hitch, contact Friendswood Animal Control volunteer liaison, Amy Castro, at 281-728-2248. Hitch’s adoption fee is just $50 and includes a vet exam, vaccines, heartworm testing, neutering, and microchipping — more than $300 in services.
