Exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health and wellness.

It’s performed for various reasons, to improve strength, to prevent aging, to develop muscles, to improve balance and agility, to increase athletic skills, for weight loss or maintenance, to improve health and also for enjoyment.
