A Cancer Survivorship Program helps shore up patients for a new fight, adapting to the new normal.

The program, hosted by the University of Texas Medical Branch, draws from the expertise of exercise physiologists, stress management specialists, nutritional counseling and the tag team of family medicine expert Dr. Victor Sierpina and gynecologic oncologist Dr. Lyuba Levine. Some 30 patients are involved, the majority of them breast cancer survivors.
