We are making progress in treatment and better diagnostics with advanced mammogram screening and the more refined NMR breast imaging. Together these are beginning to make a difference. And there are new promising techniques for specifically detecting diagnostic breast cancer proteins in the blood, urine and saliva. But still, a woman faces the challenge of chemotherapy, surgery or radiation to battle the cancer and extend her life.
