Man injured in boat fire near Kemah Boardwalk

Smoke billows from a boat that caught fire Thursday afternoon at the Kemah Boardwalk Marina.

KEMAH — Fire crews from four neighboring cities battled to contain a boat fire at the Boardwalk Marina at the Kemah Boardwalk on Thursday.

The fire was reported at about 12:30 p.m. Bystanders told The Daily News that they heard a loud "boom" before the smoke came up from the boat.

I was wondering where the smoke was coming from. I seen it at my Condo ! Hope all is okay.
