This month, the church founded as Galveston’s Second Presbyterian Church, then Broadway Memorial and still later as the Annie Truehart Memorial Church, completed its 125th year of service. You know it as Westminster Presbyterian, 5127 Ave. U in Galveston.

It’s the only local congregation meeting in a converted military chapel with its adjacent, walk-in deep freeze, both built for the also-historic Fort Crockett.
