Galveston County will celebrate the legacy and life of Martin Luther King Jr. with a wide range of events this weekend leading up to the actual holiday on Monday.

The Galveston King Fest Martin Luther King Jr. Parade will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at 29th and Church streets and will proceed down 29th Street, which is Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., and end at Menard Park on the corner of 28th Street and Avenue Q.
