This weekend the Galveston Arts Center, 2127 Strand St., will present “Haptic Recordings: The Body Eyes” by New Orleans-based artist Adam Crosson at in Galveston.

The exhibit, which includes video and photo-based works that explore the artist’s ongoing research along waterways, including the oxbow lakes of the Mississippi River, will debut during ArtWalk from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. It’ll remain on display through May 24.

Art Walk is a great opportunity to enjoy the arts and shops downtown, and this time of year - with mild weather and few tourists - is the best time to enjoy it. We go whenever we can, and always find something new.
