Make sure you get your tickets to Riders in the Sky’s “A Salute to Roy Rogers, King of the Cowboys,” which is set for 8 p.m. July 29 at The Grand 1894 Opera House, 2020 Postoffice St., in Galveston.

The show will feature comedy and western favorites Ranger Doug, Too Slim, Woody Paul and Joey the Cowpolka King, who have won multiple Grammy’s and have been the Western Music Association’s “Entertainers of the Year” seven times, and have also won “Traditional Group of the Year” and “Traditional Album of the Year” multiple times as well.

There also is a cross promotion for the show with the Bryan Museum where if an attendee shows their ticket to the performance of Riders in the Sky at the Bryan Museum, they can get the “Happy Trails” admission discount of $4 off admission to the museum. And, vice-versa — if you show your Bryan Museum receipt or wristband at The Grand — you can get the “Happy Trails” discount of $4 off each ticket at The Grand.
