Hi, I’m Kimba! I am a quiet, sweet cat. I’m very petite. I am a 2 year old pretty calico kitty. In my previous life, I lived with way too many cats and didn’t get petted very often. As a result, I love affection, but on my terms. I like to sit in your lap, but only when I want to. I recently had a litter of kittens that did a number on my tiny frame, leaving me very thin. The thought is that I won’t really get any bigger, but hopefully, I’ll continue to put on weight. Please consider me as the next addition to your family!

Rosco is a gentle senior man actively looking for his retirement home. Rosco would like to reside in a quiet home with a slow paced lifestyle. Rosco is house trained but may have an occasional accident due to his being older. He also has some arthritis pain that needs to be managed, but overall he is in good shape for his age. Rosco has a gentle giant personality and is very sweet. He does not bark, Rosco talks! And he is quite the conversationalist. Rosco enjoys his afternoon naps and likes to live by the old saying “early to bed, early to rise”, although he enjoys sleeping in too! If you like the “golden oldies” you’ll love rock n roll Rosco!

Our shelter offers spay and neuter assistance to Galveston Island

A reminder: the City of Galveston requires current registration (2014) of all pets. Registration and city tags are available at the shelter. You must bring proof of a current rabies vaccination and also something showing whether the pets is spayed or neutered. The cost is only $5 if they are fixed, and $50 if not.
