Ciao time? After years of dormancy, there’s finally some movement at the former island restaurant DiBella’s.

DiBella’s building

Ted Davila, who owns the old DiBella’s Italian Restaurant building, 1902 31st St. in Galveston, has put the building on the market.

Owner Ted Davila this month put the 1902 31st St. restaurant on the market and was showing it to prospective buyers this week. Davila, an attorney, also was back in municipal court this week securing a jury trial over his legal dispute with the city over its sign ordinances.

Biz Buzz-Ziegler’s Foods

The Ziegler’s Foods store on FM 517 in Dickinson has been closed since Hurricane Harvey devastated the area in 2017. The business is planning a comeback.
