I'm familiar with Calloways in Dallas - I think they'll be a great fit for Tom's Thumb.

I spent many hours this last week flipping through the 1914 Galveston city directory. It was over 1000 pages long and sold for the princely sum of $6 (in 1914, $12 a month would rent you a small house). Much of the directory was business advertising. It sounds like this new Galveston Discovery Map is trying to be something similar. I look forward to seeing it.

Wow! I will miss Peg and the great ambiance of Tom's Thumb! An Island treasure. Good luck to you, Peggy!
