Cinema suspense: This is rated R for reality. Alamo Drafthouse is continuing its development of a 10-screen movie theater in Victory Lakes Shopping Center, FM 646 and Interstate 45.

But its plan to open in November this year was scuttled by COVID-19, which has stalled the major movie releases on which theaters depend. Those release dates continue to be shuffled and postponed as the pandemic complicates production. Many major movie theaters remain closed.
