Despite the cancellations of some of our most beloved holiday events, Galveston still has plenty going on this season. So, since it appears that most of us, like the song says, will be home for Christmas, plan to grab your mask and enjoy the island’s offerings.
• A Railroad Christmas kicked off Friday and will run through Dec. 23 at the Galveston Railroad Museum. Visitors will have the opportunity to get a socially distanced photo with Santa. On Fridays and Saturdays, guests can enjoy Movies at the Museum in the courtyard. Treats will be available at the Whistlestop Café. Details can be found at www.galvestonrrmuseum.org.
