As you drive down Harborside Drive, you may wonder what a research vessel or cargo ship is doing berthed at a Galveston Wharves cruise terminal.

Any time dock space isn’t being used by our regular cruise and cargo customers, we’re looking to generate revenue from that valuable space from what is known as lay berth (lay) business.
