When the scissors meet the hair

Chris Smith Gonzalez will say good-bye to his long hair this weekend as part of a makeover for the Glamour for Grammar fashion show.

Well it’s finally time for the rubber to hit the road — or in my case, for the scissors to meet the hair.

It’s actually going to happen. I’m going to have a whole new look by the time you come to see me on Wednesday at the Glamour for Grammar fashion show all thanks to some generous sponsors.

On Sunday I’m heading to the Banana Republic  store at Baybrook Mall to get decked out with a few sets of clothes for the show. Loreal, one of the stores costumer reps, will be picking out my clothes and from what she tells me I’ll have a mix of formal and casual wear.

On Monday is when the hair hits the floor. In the morning I’m heading over to Lulu’s the Salon & Day Spa in Galveston for a beard trim. I’m not sure yet how much of this illustrious beard will have to meet the business end of a trimmer but I’ll find out Monday.

Finally Monday afternoon I have an appointment with Jonathan at the Toni & Guy Salon in League City. I’ve met with Jonathan and I have an idea of what he has in mind. I’d tell you but I’d rather you get to see it at the show.

But for those of you that can’t wait make sure to check my blog on Monday or Tuesday for a sneak preview.
