Galveston County residents and visitors alike celebrated the 156th anniversary of Juneteenth on Saturday with a number of events from the 42nd annual Al Edwards' Juneteenth Celebration at Ashton Villa and the dedication ceremony for the mural "Absolute Equality” to parades, festivals, picnics and the annual Reedy AME Chapel’s annual Emancipation March.
