Jaeden Johnson receives $50K scholarship

Jaeden Johnson, a senior at Texas City High School, was awarded the Educate Our Men Scholarship, a $50,000 scholarship to Dillard University. Johnson was presented with the award during the taping of the Soul Train Music Awards on Nov. 5 in Las Vegas. Educate Our Men is the signature educational initiative of Hip-hop Sisters Foundation that aims to support and develop males by providing academic scholarships to obtain baccalaureate degrees primarily from historically black college universities; provide access to career and personal mentoring; and increase cultural education and social responsibility.
