COM receives $30,000 from Mexican Consulate

The Mexican Consulate in Houston awarded a $30,000 grant to College of the Mainland to provide scholarships to students of Mexican origin and fund testing fees for up to 34 students. The award was made Nov. 15 at the Mexican Consulate in an informal ceremony attended by consulate employees and guests from the college.
