Leigh Ann Woitena Weds  David Cates

Miss Leigh Ann Woitena of Santa Fe, Texas and Mr. David Bradley Cates of Santa Fe, Texas were united in marriage on Friday, September 16, 2016 at half past six in the evening at The Springs, Sycamore Hall, in Angleton, Texas. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Dr. Rick Smith, pastor of Arcadia First Baptist Church of Santa Fe, Texas.

The bride, Leigh Ann, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George and Lisa Woitena of Santa Fe, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel and Dolores Woitena of Santa Fe, Texas and Mrs. Ann Belville and the late Mr. Jack Belville of Calvert, Texas.

The groom, David, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan and Vivian Cates of Alto, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Cates of Alto, Texas and the late Mr. and Mrs. Pierce Toole.

Bridesmaids were Mrs. Amy (Brooks) Perez of Suamico, Wisconsin and Mrs. Rachael (Reed) Eddins of McKinney, Texas. Both bridesmaids formerly of Santa Fe, Texas.

Best man was Mr. Daniel Cates of Santa Fe, Texas, and groomsman was Mr. Robert McCurdy of Santa Fe, Texas.

Leigh Ann was an honor graduate from Santa Fe High School. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. Leigh Ann also attended St. Mary’s University School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctor degree. Leigh Ann is an attorney at Anderson Pfeiffer, PC, a law firm in Dickinson, Texas.

David graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. He also graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas where he received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. David also has a Masters Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Houston. David is employed by NCR.

The couple will reside in Santa Fe, Texas.
