FRIENDSWOOD — A 19-year-old Texas City man was stabbed Saturday morning during an argument with a 17-year-old man in Friendswood.
Police were called to Friendswood Fire Station 2, where the stabbing victim had fled on foot after the dispute, according to a police report.
The victim told police that he and the 17-year-old got into a heated argument in the 1600 block of Lundy Lane just before midnight Friday. When the victim tried to leave, the 17-year-old punctured two tires on the victim’s vehicle with a pair of scissors, police said.
The two then got into a fight. As the two were fighting on the ground, the victim was stabbed three times with scissors, police said.
The injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
The victim fled on foot and tried unsuccessfully to flag down vehicles along FM 528. He walked to the fire station and was taken to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital, police said.
Police were sent to the residence to search for the 17-year-old man, but got no response at the house. While officers were at the house, a woman arrived and determined that the 17-year-old was hiding inside, police said.
George Pendleton Jr. was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is being held on $80,000 bond.
