Augusta Marie Woodard
Augusta Marie Woodard was born February 6, 1954, in Brenham, Texas to Cleon Woodard, Sr. and Ruthel Lewis Woodard. She passed into her eternal rest on October 27, 2009, in Webster, Texas.
A 1973 graduate of Dickinson High School, she was employed as a Micro Film Technician with Tessada & Associates; and a member of Greater New Hope Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Thomas Ray, Clarence and Leon Woodard, she is survived by a daughter Tylamika L. (Kevin) Brown; sister Ruthel Webb; brothers Rev. Lee Roy (Gerrie) Woodard, Cleon (Ruth) Woodard, Jr., Albert Woodard, Larry Woodard, Jerry Woodard and Gerry Woodard; a devoted nephew and niece Devon Taylor and Monique Webb; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 3018 Avenue F in Dickinson with Pastor Roderick Cunningham, officiating.
