GALVESTON — Little goblins and ghouls can go wild and spooky at Moody Gardens on Sunday. Moody Gardens will dress up in a Halloween costume and turn into “Ghostly Gardens” to offer a spooktacular variety of free fun activities for children and their families.
Free trick-or-treating will be offered at locations throughout the complex. While wandering around various trick-or-treating stations, children also can enjoy making themed crafts at the Creepy Crafts station.
Children 12 years and younger are dared to enter the Halloween costume contest to win prizes. The annual contest will kick off at 3 p.m. and feature celebrity judges from Houston- and Galveston-area media.
Ghostly Gardens will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and guests are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes. Families with at least one member in a Halloween costume can take advantage of a special discount and pay $5 per attraction per person.
