Josephine Emmite Fasullo
Josephine Emmite Fasullo passed away November 2, 2009. She was born in Dickinson, Texas on January 24, 1927, to Antonio S. and Angeline Falco Emmite. Josephine graduated from Dickinson High School and was employed for 10 years by the Community Public Service Company, later part of Texas New Mexico Power Company. In 1954, she married Frank J. Fasullo, Sr. and relocated to Houston, Texas. She returned to her hometown of Dickinson in 2002.
Josephine was a strong, giving and loving individual who was cherished by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio S. and Angeline Falco Emmite; and husband Frank J. Fasullo, Sr.
Survivors include her daughter Donna L. Fasullo; son, Dr. Frank J. Fasullo, Jr. and wife Myra; granddaughters Lillie, Francesca, and Rosemary Fasullo; sister in law Joyce Fasullo Koenig; close family members that include nephews, nieces and cousins. The family wishes to express deep appreciation to Ms. Surinder Hawkins, Josephine’s loyal caregiver, for her dedication, caring and support.
Visitation will be at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at James Crowder Funeral Home, Dickinson, Texas, with a rosary to follow. Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2009, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, League City, Texas. Monsignor Eugene Cargill officiating. Interment will follow at the Garden of Gethsemane, Forest Park Lawndale, Houston, Texas.
