Don Duschel
TEXAS CITY — Don Duschel lost his fight with cancer on October 31, 2009, at the age of sixty. He was born on September 10, 1949 in San Diego, California.
He is preceded in death by his father Harry, Mother Beatrice and brother Terry.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years Ann of Texas City; four sons Chad of Wister, Oklahoma, Nathan of Nashville, Tennessee, Michael of Del City, Oklahoma, Jerry Mason of New Castle, Oklahoma; and daughter Shawna Macias of Texas City; and eight grandchildren.
The family wished to thank AMED Hospice, especially Connie who brought a smile to Don’s face and Lola who cared for him the last few days of his life.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church, 1200 22nd St. North in Texas City. Arrangements by Carnes Bros. Funeral Home.
