Robert ‘Bud’ Saunders
DICKINSON — Robert “Bud” Saunders left this world on November 1st 2009. He is survived by his wife Alice Saunders of Dickinson; son Robert “Bud” Saunders, Jr. and his wife Mary of Pearland; grandson Michael Saunders of Pearland; nephew Gil Peers, Jr.; and his family of Nebraska, niece Debbie Whisnant and family of Nebraska, numerous other relatives, a community full of friends and a devoted office staff that loved him.
Bud was an avid fisherman, colorful storyteller and very successful businessman and community leader.
At Bud’s request there will be no services.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers or plants please donate to the Bud Saunders Scholarship foundation at Amegy Bank. For more information contact the North Galveston County Chamber of Commerce.
