LEAGUE CITY – With volleyball season starting today, the Clear Falls Knights begin it the way they ended it — as one of the top four programs in the state’s largest division.

The Texas Girls Coaches Association released its preseason state volleyball poll on Monday with Clear Falls ranked No. 4 in Class 6A. The Knights were the only Galveston County program to receive a top 10 state ranking in the poll.

Clear Falls is coming off a 2013 season where the team reached the state semifinals in just its third year with a varsity team, and the Knights have good cause to have high hopes again this year.
