Clear Falls 11, Clear Lake 4

HOUSTON — Mikie Gaudet homered and drove in three runs as the Knights pounded the Falcons on Thursday in District 24-5A play.

Hunter La Grange had two hits with a double, two runs scored and one RBI for Clear Falls. Chris Brandli, Victor Garcia, Josh Koetter, Josh Koetter and Collin Fries each drove in a run for the Knights.

Chase Lowman picked up the complete-game win, allowing four runs — two earned — on eight hits with four walks and 13 strikeouts.

Grant Dougharty homered and finished with two RBIs for Clear Lake.


Clear Springs 9, Dickinson 5

LEAGUE CITY — The Chargers rallied from a 4-3 deficit by scoring three runs in each the fifth and sixth inning to down Dickinson on Thursday in District 24-5A action.

Matt Williams had two hits with a homer and two RBIs for Clear Springs. Matt Currie went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. Tyrone Thomas, Jacob Vasquez and Brad Nolen each had one hit and drove in one run.

Colby Day and Blake Chisolm combined to pitch 42⁄3 innings of relief for the Chargers, together giving up one unearned run on two hits.

Logan Alexander and Jared McWilliams both had two RBIs for Dickinson.


Clear Creek 14, Brazoswood 2 (6)

CLUTE — Harrison Hill went 2-for-3 with a double and drove in three, and teammate Landon Etzel had a hit and three RBIs as the Wildcats hammers Brazoswood on Thursday in District 24-5A play.

Clear Creek finished with nine hits and took advantage of five errors by the Buccaneers.

Stephen Garcia had a hit and drove in two runs for the Wildcats, Sean Kelly finished with two RBIs, Anthony Cole had a hit and one RBI, and Austin Adams drove in one run.

Aron Solis went five innings to earn the win, giving up one earned run on six hits with two walks and three strikeouts.


Santa Fe 10, Texas City 0 (4)

SANTA FE— Jordan Gunter went 2-for-3 with a homer, double and four RBI to lead the Indians past the Stings on Thursday in District 24-4A action.

Timothy Johnson had two hits with a double and two RBIs for Santa Fe. David Reyna doubled and drove in a run, and Cody Plowman had one RBI.

Brandon Holder got the win, pitching five shutout innings and allowing five hits with one walk and five strikeouts.


Friendswood 8, Lee 0

BAYTOWN — Ryan Bertlsman went 4-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI to lead the Mustangs to a District 24-4A win over Baytown Lee on Thursday night.

Carter Gwynne had two hits with a double and scored twice for Friendswood. Drew Barba hit a solo homer, Hunter Kirkland tripled and drove in run, and teammates Lael Lockhart, Walker Williams, Carson Kaufman and Ryan Dupuis each had a hit and one RBI.

Ryan Shetter earned the win, pitching six shutout innings. He allowed on four hits with two walks and 11 strikeouts.
