Heavy rain across the area Friday night caused changes to high school baseball and softball playoff schedules for Galveston County schools.

They are:

Clear Creek vs. Manvel

The game is at 11 a.m. at Clear Creek with Game 3, if needed, to follow 30 minutes afterward. Creek won, 12-2, Thursday to lead the series, 1-0.

Friendswood vs. Houston Milby

Game 1 from Friday will resume at noon today at Bobby Black Field in Friendswood. Originally scheduled as a best-of-three series, it has been changed to a single game with the winner advancing.

When the game resumes, the Mustangs will have the bases loaded with one out in bottom of third inning leading 7-1.
