The Clear Creek Wildcats used solid production from the bottom of their lineup to take down the Clear Lake Falcons 10-3 on Wednesday night.
With two outs in the bottom of the third, Clear Creek’s Reed Hamilton laced a two-run double to left scoring Logan Spuler (leadoff double) and Jonathan McKay (single) to tie the game at 2-2.
Three hits in a four-batter span helped the Wildcats score two more runs to grab the lead for good in the fourth.
Cordale Brooks-Dupla drove in Rex Kennedy (single) on a double, and Brooks-Dupla raced home on a RBI double by Parker Osburn.
Clear Creek burst the game open in the fifth inning when the Wildcats sent 10 batters to the plate en route to scoring six runs.

Kennedy, Brooks-Dupla and Spuler all scored two runs and had two hits on the night for Clear Creek.
Osburn and Brooks-Dupla each had two RBIs, and McKay also chipped in with two hits for the Wildcats.
Poston pitched the first five innings for Clear Creek, giving up five hits, no walks, three strikeouts, and two unearned runs in the win.
Osburn and Gehrig Haslam each threw a scoreless inning in relief for the Wildcats.
Clear Creek (6-5 in District 24-6A) will be looking to sweep the season series against the Falcons at 7 p.m. Friday as the Wildcats travel to Clear Lake (0-11).
