Dymond Gladney led the Chargers with 27 points. McKenna Worrell tallied nine points for Clear Springs.
Kaitlin Wkyoff and Destiny Broussard (four steals) each corralled a team-high seven rebounds for the Chargers.
Clear Springs will begin its quest to repeat as Peggy Whitley Classic champions, as the Chargers kick off the tournament against Tomball on Thursday (9 a.m. in Butler Gym). The 60th annual PWC will be hosted at Clear Creek High School and will run Thursday through Saturday.
